
Ryan Watson grew up in Largo, Florida. He attended Largo High School where he played football for
the Packers as All County All Star, All Suncoast and All Star Game player and graduated
Class
of 1997. He was recruited to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where he played on the defensive line for four years and finished
his career as Captain and an All Conference and First Team All American in 2002.
Ryan was scouted by 11 different NFL teams and signed with the Tennessee Titans. He was later released and picked up by the Atlanta Falcons where he tenured after two years. Retiring from the league Watson was able to pursue his first passion, bodybuilding and personal training.
Ryan placed third at the 2007 NPC Southern States Championship in Men’s Super Heavy Weight division
in
Ft.
Lauderdale,
FL. In June 2007 he won Overall and also took the Heavy Weight Bodybuilding division at the
NPC Mid-Florida
Muscle Classic, in Orlando Florida.
After over coming major hernia operation, only 5
months
later
Ryan
had
a
disappointing
placing
at
the
08
Southern
States
.
Not
counting
it a
total
loss
he
still
got
a
photo
shoot
with
Muscle
Mag
Intl
and
signed
an
amateur
contract
with
Camp
Muscle
Fitness
and
Bodybuilding
wear.
Watson is a fitness guru. He practices what he preaches and truly lives a life dedicated to sports conditioning. Watson has a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition from ASU.
His
certifications
include; NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist)
&
OPT
(Optimum
Performance
Trainer)
for
maximizing
muscle
hypertrophy,
also NSCA (National Sports and Conditioning Association).
He
is
certified
with
IAPC
(International
Academy
of
Physique
Conditioning),
which
certifies
him
to
prepare
both
male
&
female
athletes
for
bodybuilding
&
figure
competitions. He has studied under
5
professional
strength
coaches
and
studied
with industry leaders such as Paul Chek and Juan Carlos Santana.
Ryan trains a diverse group of clientele, from high-school
athletes,
to
bodybuilding
/
fitness
competitors,
to
injury
&
degenerative
condition
rehabilitation.
